The role involves working on a wide array of high-value commercial property matters, including equity investments, fund transactions, and complex lending arrangements. This opportunity is being offered through a specialized legal recruiting firm representing the hiring law office.

Duties:

  • Assist in the structuring and negotiation of commercial real estate investments

  • Support institutional investors and private equity clients throughout the investment life cycle

  • Draft, review, and negotiate documents related to acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financings

  • Conduct due diligence and coordinate closings

  • Advise clients on real estate financing structures and related legal considerations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams to support transactional processes

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of relevant post-JD experience in real estate law

  • Background in commercial real estate finance or related transactional work

  • Strong drafting and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated interest in institutional real estate or private equity transactions

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) earned between 2020 and 2024

  • Must be admitted and in good standing with the California Bar or eligible for admission

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar membership (or pending admission if recently graduated)
