Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Contract Appearance Attorney in San Francisco, CA. This flexible, appointment-based contract role offers an opportunity to represent clients in immigration court and USCIS interviews. The position allows for professional growth within a supportive legal team.

Duties

• Appear in immigration courts for hearings and proceedings.
• Accompany clients to USCIS interviews.
• Represent clients in both non-detention and detained matters.
• Manage and coordinate case documents and updates.
• Report hearing outcomes to the central team.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar license in the state.
• Experience with immigration court proceedings or USCIS interviews.
• Ability to manage own schedule and communicate effectively.
• Reliable travel within the metro area for courthouse visits.
• Excellent writing and advocacy skills.
• Preferred: 1+ year of immigration law experience.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish a plus).

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

• Active bar license in the state
