Watershed Estate Planning

Pros: I love the client contact, walking my clients through their options for estate planning and how to accomplish their goals most effectively. Second to the client work is the drafting itself. There is satisfaction in writing a succinct clause that accomplishes the client's goals.

Cons: As a solo attorney, I miss the camaraderie of an office and the opportunity to talk with fellow attorneys and run ideas by them.

Partners to Avoid and Why: I have previously worked with managers and colleagues who channel their stress and frustration through yelling or mistreating junior staff, and find it corrosive for everyone around them.
