One thing I recommend for all attorneys, if you're in law school, is to do your best to try to get the best job you can. When you come out of law school, that gives you the best training.

So it would help if you looked at what happens to people that join different types of employers. So you have to ask yourself what happens to people who do your career path. So if you do a federal or state court clerkship, you'll typically get a job at a law firm or something else, and you'll get training. You do not learn how to be an attorney in law school by any stretch of the imagination. You only learn when you start practicing, and I always recommend the law firm.

A clerkship is always good too, but I recommend law firms because we will just give you more options later on. Your options can be to start your law firm. It can be to go in-house or work in a more prominent law firm, whatever it is. But you'll get training in the law firm in either a consumer-facing law firm or a corporate facing law firm.
