I don't know how all ATS systems work inside of companies. Large companies will have other attorneys reviewing your resume. It's not going to be screened by an ATS system. I really do not think you need to do that for most companies. Now you have to remember that the value of an ATS system is making sure that the right people get found. I don't think you want to put all these keywords on your resume. That makes it look like whoever's hiring you does know what they're doing. You don't need to do that. I don't know why recruiters will be telling you that, but I don't agree with that at all.
