Litigation Associate, Consumer Products

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level litigation associate to join its Consumer Products practice in San Francisco, CA. The role involves representing consumer product companies in matters related to California Proposition 65 and assisting in consumer class actions.

Duties

• Represent consumer product companies in response to private plaintiff demand letters and government inquiries.
• Assist in litigating consumer class actions involving false advertising and regulatory non-compliance.
• Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with a global team of subject-matter specialists.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of litigation experience.
• Experience with a range of industries, including foods, supplements, and personal care products, preferred.
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients.
• Experience with FTC, NAD, FDCA, CPSC, and related issues is a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to excellence.
• Membership to the California Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
