Associate Attorney (Labor & Employment)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Employment Litigation Practice Group in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of experience in employment litigation and will contribute to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Duties

• Work on employment litigation matters, including individual, class, and PAGA litigation.
• Maintain extensive contact with client representatives and opposing counsel.
• Assist with workplace investigations.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft pleadings and motions, including dispositive motions.
• Draft and respond to discovery and correspondence.

Requirements

• Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.
• 2 - 5 years of experience in employment litigation.
• Wage and hour class action/PAGA experience highly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent oral, and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated professional who can work independently and within a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
