A law firm in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join their Product, Tort, and Insurance Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of litigation experience in defending insurance coverage and/or extracontractual matters. Strong candidates will possess excellent research and writing skills, a good academic record, and a proven track record in handling various aspects of insurance coverage litigation.

 

Job Details:

  • Write coverage opinions and conduct investigations into insurance claims
  • Handle written discovery and depositions
  • Draft pleadings and substantive motions
  • Attend mediations and court appearances
  • Assist at trial as needed

 

Experience:

5-7 years of litigation experience in defending insurance coverage and/or extracontractual matters

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of California

 

Skills:

  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
