This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate attorney to work closely with senior associates, gain hands-on experience in various legal proceedings, and make a significant impact in the field of family law. Duties:

  • Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, affidavits, settlement agreements, and orders for court proceedings and negotiations
  • Perform legal research and prepare for legal hearings and proceedings
  • Advise clients on potential legal resolutions, analyze case conflicts, and negotiate on their behalf
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure efficient case handling
  • Maintain client files in an organized manner for easy access by attorneys, paralegals, and staff
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties to ensure smooth case management

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • Ability to work with senior attorneys and contribute to client and business development
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct interviews and gather information to understand legal claims
  • Excellent research, analytical, verbal, and writing skills
  • Ability to manage a high caseload in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and compassion for clients
  • Positive, motivated, and team-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal document management systems

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Texas Bar License (Required)
