Attorney needed for Walnut Creek office

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in handling commercial general liability matters including construction, premises liability, transportation, and hospitality-related claims. Location:

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation casework, including:

  • Case strategy and planning

  • Discovery drafting and responses

  • Document review and production

  • Legal research and memorandum preparation

• Handle depositions, client interviews, and expert witness coordination

• Prepare and argue motions

• Engage in mediation, arbitration, and dispute resolution efforts

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials

Requirements:

• Proven litigation experience with excellent case management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong written and oral advocacy abilities

• Comfortable interacting with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

• Commitment to providing high-quality client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong research and legal writing skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in litigation support tools and Microsoft Office

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Knowledge of California court procedures and civil litigation standards
