Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A plaintiffs’ firm specializing in Personal Injury, Nursing Home Abuse, Habitability, Police Brutality, and Civil Rights Litigation is seeking a talented and motivated litigation attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in complex litigation, strong research and writing skills, and a passion for providing justice. This role will involve managing caseloads, preparing legal documents, and participating in all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, and trials.

Location:

• Walnut Creek, CA

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Effectively manage caseloads and deadlines.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Assist with business development and client relationship management.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Admitted to practice law in California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in California.
