Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney to join its elite team focused on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. This role involves working on highly complex matters such as traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, burns, amputations, and severe trauma claims. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in complex litigation, such as medical malpractice or product liability, coupled with a relentless drive for excellence and a deep sense of justice. This hybrid position combines in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work and offers an opportunity to work under the guidance of a litigation veteran on high-stakes cases.

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases

• Develop comprehensive litigation strategies through research, analysis, and expert consultation

• Prepare for trial with a senior litigator, handling discovery, depositions, and case analysis

• Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, and legal briefs

• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear updates and empathetic support

• Collaborate with a focused legal team to out-prepare opposing counsel

• Handle negotiations, mediations, and court appearances to advocate for client interests

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury, product liability, or medical malpractice

• Demonstrated success managing high-stakes, complex cases

• Strong trial preparation and courtroom presentation skills

• Ability to lead strategy development and execute discovery plans with precision

• Deep commitment to justice and client advocacy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Arizona or eligibility for reciprocity
