Associate Attorney - Family Law

Duties

• Establish positive and collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts.
• Apply legal solutions effectively to clients' issues.
• Communicate legal options clearly and empathetically to clients.
• Research case law and draft correspondence and pleadings.
• Represent clients effectively at hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Consult with and retain new clients.
• Work with staff to accurately calendar hearings and deadlines.
• Communicate timely with the managing partner and senior associate.
• Utilize technology to efficiently generate work product and records.

Requirements

• 2-10+ years of family law/litigation experience preferred.
• Trial experience is advantageous.
• Recent California Bar admittees with family law courses or internships may be considered.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
