Duties

• Oversee all aspects of case management and independently manage caseload.
• Conduct consultations and legal research.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Attend client meetings, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare cases for trial and handle all aspects of litigation.
• Manage tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and meet productivity expectations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff.
• Develop and execute case strategies and advise clients of potential outcomes.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana Bar and active license to practice law in Louisiana in good standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor, integrity, and desire to grow in a collaborative setting.
