Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Renewable Energy team in any of its locations. The role involves working on innovative wind, solar, geothermal, hydrogen, and battery storage projects across the country, supporting clients in the transition to clean energy.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients on renewable energy projects from inception to completion.
• Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements and other related contracts.
• Provide legal advice on mergers, acquisitions, and commercial contracts.
• Engage in hands-on project management and client interaction.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of law firm experience in project development and finance.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is preferred.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
