Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Tax Equity Associate in Denver. The ideal candidate will possess significant transactional experience in tax equity financing and related agreements, contributing to the firm's dynamic legal team.

Duties

  • Negotiate and prepare equity capital contribution agreements.
  • Draft membership interest purchase agreements and LLC agreements.
  • Prepare tax credit purchase agreements and ancillary documents.
  • Conduct due diligence on key project agreements, including offtake, EPC, and supply contracts.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in tax equity financing and related transactions.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and preparing complex legal documents.
  • Strong due diligence skills on project agreements.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Colorado or eligibility to waive in.

  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
