Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation from case inception through to resolution
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters
  • Stay updated on changes in the law and emerging legal trends
  • Manage case files and deadlines efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategies and best practices

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of California
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on litigation
  • Experience in personal injury and/or criminal defense law preferred
  • Proficient in legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Legal administrative experience is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and trial experience
  • Excellent legal writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in legal research tools (Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, etc.)
  • Ability to manage cases and clients effectively
  • Knowledge of personal injury and criminal defense law
