Job Overview: A law firm in Miami, FL, seeks an experienced Partner-Level Attorney specializing in land use, zoning, and development permitting. The ideal candidate will lead complex legal matters, provide strategic counsel, and manage client relationships in this specialized area of law.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex land use, zoning, and development permitting cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel clients on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and permits.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, zoning board meetings, and court proceedings.
  • Manage and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the practice area.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on land use, zoning, and development permitting.
  • Proven track record of handling complex legal matters independently and achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in Land Use and Zoning Law from a recognized legal institution.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of land use, zoning regulations, and development permitting processes.
