Job Overview

A law firm seeks an employment law associate attorney with 3-8 years of experience to join its growing practice in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience defending employers in federal and state court litigation, including single-plaintiff, PAGA, and wage and hour class actions.

Duties

• Represent employers in federal and state court litigation.
• Advise on pre-hiring practices and high-risk terminations.
• Develop strategies for risk reduction and compliance.
• Conduct independent workplace investigations.
• Resolve disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in California.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis from Century City office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Experience with PAGA and class actions.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
