The ideal candidate will have experience with trials, pre-trials, mediations, depositions, and post-judgment recovery, along with a strong understanding of debtor and creditor rights.

Duties

  • Represent clients in debt collection and subrogation matters, including negotiating settlements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support debt collection efforts.
  • Draft and review legal documents, such as demand letters and settlement agreements.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, from case initiation to trial preparation.
  • Manage a caseload of debt collection and subrogation cases, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with external parties to resolve legal disputes.
  • Stay informed on changes in debt collection laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida state bar and good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in debt collection and subrogation.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Strong knowledge of debtor and creditor rights.
  • Proven experience handling debt collection and subrogation litigation.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical skills.

Education
