Associate Attorney needed for Sacramento office

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prepare pleadings, handle discovery, take and defend depositions, and be prepared for trial, though prior trial experience is not required. Location:

Duties:

• Prepare pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
• Manage discovery processes and review medical records.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other staff for case development and strategy.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to case strategy discussions.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law.
• Ability to prepare pleadings, motions, and handle discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions (preferred but not required).
• Trial experience is a plus but not essential.
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with medical records and their relevance to personal injury cases (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
