Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Laurel, MD. The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of the Maryland Bar and will join a dynamic team representing mortgage lenders, banks, and financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, and REO matters. This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement within a collegial and flexible work environment.

Duties

  • Manage and prioritize a large caseload.
  • Draft and review pleadings to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Attend hearings and status conferences.
  • Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Provide creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate and member in good standing of the Maryland Bar.
  • Experience with title, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or mortgage banking is a plus.
  • Driven and excited to advance a legal career.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate.

Certifications

  • Member in good standing of the Maryland Bar.
