Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its civil litigation team in Arizona. Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Maintain regular client communication and case updates.
• Prepare for and participate in arbitrations and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience (Arizona preferred).
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona.
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines, filings, and competing case demands.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
