Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel for its Los Angeles, CA office. The role involves defending and litigating a wide range of employment-related claims and providing strategic advice to employers on labor law issues.

Duties

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
  • Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
  • Handle mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination cases.
  • Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
  • 9+ years of experience in employment litigation with first-chair case management.
  • Current CA Bar admission in good standing.
  • Supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work.
  • In-depth understanding of state and federal agency procedures.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California Bar.
