Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney to join their practice in Green Bay, WI. Duties

  • Manage a personal injury caseload, including auto accidents and slip and fall claims.
  • Conduct initial client consultations and case evaluations.
  • Review and summarize case records, including insurance and medical records.
  • Draft and proofread legal correspondence and demand letters.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions and court proceedings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate with support staff to efficiently move cases forward.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical obligations.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
  • Ability to commute to meet clients as needed.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects.
  • Client-focused with a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Education
