Job Overview:
A highly respected Wisconsin-based law firm is seeking a passionate and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a client-centered practice, values courtroom advocacy, and is dedicated to seeking justice for those wrongfully injured. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of personal injury experience and a strong interest in trial work. This position is full-time and based in the Eau Claire area, with cases handled statewide.

Location:

  • Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Duties:

  • Manage a full caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through trial

  • Represent clients in court, including jury trials, hearings, and settlement conferences

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence

  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

  • Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel

  • Engage in negotiations and mediation to resolve claims

  • Collaborate with legal staff and team members to ensure effective case management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff or defense)

  • Ability to manage cases independently and effectively

  • Commitment to client service and strong ethical standards

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, depositions, and court appearances

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Wisconsin

  • Admission to practice in Minnesota is strongly preferred

Skills:

  • Litigation and trial advocacy skills

  • Legal research and persuasive writing

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems

  • Familiarity with data analysis and technology tools (including AI applications)

  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong time-management capabilities
