Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join their team in Denver, Colorado. The firm represents employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation, general liability, and Medicare set-aside matters. The position offers flexibility between hybrid or fully remote work, depending on the candidate's proximity to a physical office.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Manage client communications and provide legal advice on claims.
  • Develop case strategies and legal arguments.
  • Participate in client meetings, settlement negotiations, and administrative proceedings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado, Arizona, and/or Utah State Bar(s).
  • Experience in general liability defense or related fields preferred.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

  • Admitted to the Colorado, Arizona, and/or Utah Bar(s).
