A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Lawyer in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will manage case files from inception to resolution, advocating for clients to secure justice and compensation for their injuries. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong track record in personal injury litigation.

Duties

• Appear as legal counsel at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation.
• Negotiate and settle agreements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Investigate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
• Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia.
• Experience litigating personal injury cases in Virginia General District and Circuit Courts.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law.

Skills

• Computer proficiency is essential.
