Job Overview
A respected law firm specializing in family law is seeking a qualified and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team in a fully remote capacity. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about resolving family legal matters through negotiation and collaboration rather than litigation. Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in family law matters with a focus on peaceful, amicable resolution

  • Develop tailored strategic legal action plans aligned with clients’ goals and values

  • Draft and review legal documents, including settlement agreements, motions, pleadings, and court orders

  • Appear in court occasionally; litigation is minimized and not the norm

  • Provide clients with regular monthly case updates to foster trust and transparency

  • Lead a team of paralegals and legal assistants in a collaborative legal pod structure

  • Attend internal meetings, including one-on-one sessions with mentoring attorneys and firm-wide events

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Washington State

  • Must be a current resident of Washington State

  • At least 5 years of experience practicing law, with substantial work in family law

  • Demonstrated passion for collaborative law and alternative dispute resolution

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and strategic planning skills

  • Commitment to providing client-centered legal services with a focus on family well-being

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and good standing with the Washington State Bar Association

Skills
