Job Overview:
A reputable multi-state law firm is seeking a Florida-licensed Associate Attorney to join its Evictions practice group. This is a fully remote position focused on managing a high-volume caseload of post-foreclosure and landlord-tenant eviction matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, excellent organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Prior experience in evictions or foreclosure is preferred but not required.

Location:

  • Delray Beach, FL

Duties:

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of eviction matters from initiation through resolution

  • Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery

  • Conduct legal research and advise clients on eviction strategies and legal compliance

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and proceedings (virtually or in-person as needed)

  • Monitor updates and trends in eviction and housing laws

  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and strategic recommendations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of legal experience (evictions, foreclosure, litigation, or real estate law preferred)

  • Experience in court representation and familiarity with eviction procedures (preferred)

  • Ability to manage a caseload independently in a deadline-driven environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida (required)

  • Additional bar admissions are a plus

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

  • Effective negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills

  • Familiarity with case management systems and remote legal operations

  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills
