Job Overview

A leading national law firm is seeking a mid-level Commercial Contracts & Supply Chain Associate Attorney to join its Business Practice Group. The ideal candidate will handle sophisticated commercial transactions and contracts across diverse industries, with a strong focus on consumer goods and consumer products sectors. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of attorneys across multiple offices while supporting a broad portfolio of business clients.

Location

  • Seattle, WA

Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial contracts, including:

    • Manufacturing Agreements

    • Distribution Agreements

    • Sales Broker Agreements

    • Raw Material Supply Agreements

    • Packaging Supply Agreements

    • Equipment Leases

    • Equipment Purchase Agreements

    • Product Purchase, Sale, and Supply Agreements

  • Advise clients on contract law, risk management, and operational strategies

  • Provide day-to-day counseling on contractual matters for businesses of various sizes

  • Collaborate with attorneys across the firm’s offices on cross-disciplinary projects

  • Deliver responsive, professional, and strategic client service

  • Participate in firm-wide diversity, equity, inclusion, and pro bono initiatives (optional but encouraged)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts

  • Strong understanding of contract law and risk management practices

  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects efficiently

  • High level of commitment to client service and relationship management

  • Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a diverse team

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and writing skills

  • Professional and adaptable approach to client service

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law

Skills

  • Expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and review within consumer goods and related industries

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain agreements and commercial transaction structures

  • Practical problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities

  • Superior attention to detail and project management skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both legal and non-legal professionals
