Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A rapidly growing civil litigation firm in the Los Angeles area is seeking a full-time Litigation Associate to join its team in Pasadena, CA. This role offers the opportunity to handle a dynamic caseload with a strong focus on post-judgment litigation. The ideal candidate will be experienced in depositions, motion practice, and courtroom appearances, and will be capable of managing cases from intake to resolution in a fast-paced legal environment.

Location:

Duties:

• Manage an active caseload of civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on post-judgment issues

• Draft legal motions, pleadings, and memoranda

• Conduct legal research and prepare supporting briefs

• Take and defend depositions

• Represent clients at court hearings and proceedings

• Collaborate with firm attorneys and staff on case strategy and client communications

Requirements:

• Experience managing litigation matters independently or with limited supervision

• Strong familiarity with California civil procedure and motion practice

• Ability to appear in court and argue motions

• Prior deposition and courtroom experience preferred

• Commitment to client service and litigation excellence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
