A prominent law firm in Alameda, CA is expanding its plaintiff-side personal injury team and seeking a dynamic attorney with proven experience managing a high-volume pre-litigation caseload. Duties:

  • Handle a substantial portfolio of pre-litigation personal injury matters from intake through settlement

  • Advise clients on legal rights, case progress, and settlement options

  • Conduct negotiations with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to reach favorable resolutions

  • Regularly communicate with clients, ensuring transparency and support throughout the case lifecycle

  • Work closely with case managers, investigators, medical providers, and other team members to build and manage case files

  • Participate in internal case strategy meetings and provide insight into legal direction

  • Maintain detailed, organized, and timely documentation within case management systems

  • Supervise daily workflows and provide leadership to 2–3 case managers

  • Stay informed of updates in personal injury statutes, case law, and procedural rules

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Nevada and good standing

  • At least 3 years of recent experience in pre-litigation personal injury matters

  • Demonstrated ability to manage 250–300 active files concurrently

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities

  • Ability to operate independently and within a cross-functional team

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-touch legal service environment

  • Fluency in English is required; Spanish language skills are a significant plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited institution

Certifications:

  • A current and valid license with the Nevada State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities

  • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing under pressure

  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office applications
