Partner Level or Senior Associate - Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney (Partner Level or Senior Associate) to join their team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed and portable insurance defense, professional liability defense, and/or general litigation practice in Massachusetts, with admission to practice in other New England states being a plus.

Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
