Job Overview:
A growing law firm located in Jacksonville Beach, FL is seeking a full-time Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of experience and a background in criminal and/or civil litigation. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic legal environment, is passionate about advocacy, and possesses strong legal research and writing skills. The attorney will support the firm’s litigation sector by handling a variety of legal matters, from drafting pleadings to engaging in client communications and court proceedings.

Location:

  • Jacksonville Beach, FL

Duties:

  • Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and memoranda

  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports and arguments

  • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed

  • Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to obtain and relay case information

  • Manage and organize case files, evidence, and legal records

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all court deadlines

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.

  • Must have a backgroung in criminal law, civil litigation, or both

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with court procedures and filing systems

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar
