Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced associate to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice in New York. The role involves representing various market participants in renewable and energy transition finance and M&A transactions.

Duties

  • Represent sponsors, developers, and investors in transactions.
  • Engage in project finance and tax equity transactions.
  • Negotiate material project agreements such as PPA, EPC, and O&M.
  • Manage complex transactions with strong analytical skills.
  • Interact comfortably with clients and team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Admitted to practice law in the local jurisdiction.
  • Prior law firm experience required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions.
  • Experience in U.S. renewables and power sector.
