Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Banking and Finance Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in syndicated loan agreements, structured finance, project finance, equipment leasing, and secured transactions. Real estate finance experience is highly desirable.

Duties

• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on financing transactions.
• Represent both borrowers and lenders in various financial dealings.
• Engage in regular and direct partner and client contact.
• Assume increasing responsibility in legal matters.

Requirements

• 2nd or 3rd year associate experience.
• Experience in syndicated loans, structured finance, or related fields.
• NY Bar admission required.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to advance.

Education

• Higher tier law school preferred.
• Strong academic record preferred.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar.

Skills

• Experience in real estate finance is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
