Project Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a finance-focused attorney for its New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will have experience in US project financing of energy and infrastructure projects, Holdco financing, and US tax equity financings. Experience with construction to back-leverage financing and other financing structures involving tax equity or tax credits is advantageous.

Duties

• Negotiate credit agreements and collateral documents for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project financing initiatives.
• Provide legal advice on financing structures and tax equity matters.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in project finance, particularly in energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Admission to the New York bar.
• Preferred class years: 2022-2018.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
