Duties:

• Manage full-cycle litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, and other court filings

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and internal legal teams to develop legal strategies

• Interact with clients, insurers, and third-party administrators regarding case developments

• Handle complex matters involving transportation-related incidents, employment claims, and liability issues

• Maintain timely and organized management of active files

• Meet defined productivity metrics and contribute to team objectives

• Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented approach to legal problem solving

• Operate effectively in a paperless, technology-driven work environment

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience

• Prior exposure to transportation law or catastrophic injury litigation is advantageous

• Familiarity with Florida legal practice and procedure preferred

• Capability to independently manage caseload and meet performance targets

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

Certifications:

• Florida Bar admission required
