Job Overview:
A growing and technologically advanced personal injury law firm located in Pikesville, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with at least three years of relevant legal experience. The ideal candidate will be an active member of the Maryland Bar with trial experience and a strong background in legal research and writing. Location:

  • Pikesville, Maryland

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research related to personal injury laws, regulations, and precedents

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

  • Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and settlement conferences

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and other parties

  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation

  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure case deadlines are met

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on legal strategy and case development

  • Stay current on changes in personal injury law and litigation practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation

  • Trial and courtroom experience required

  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, case analysis, and writing

  • Strong client communication and advocacy skills

  • Ability to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Maryland Bar (required)
