Job Overview

A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least two years of experience in transactional real estate matters to join its Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will bring experience handling purchase and sale agreements, leasing, property management contracts, and borrower-side financing. This is a strong opportunity for a mid-level associate who is collaborative, business-minded, and eager to contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic national real estate practice.

Location

  • Los Angeles, CA

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements for commercial and residential real estate

  • Handle property management and leasing agreements

  • Support borrower-side financing transactions and due diligence

  • Contribute to joint venture and development deal structuring (preferred)

  • Manage client relationships and serve as a key point of contact in transactions

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and national practice teams across offices

  • Review title, survey, and zoning materials as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in real estate transactional law

  • Demonstrated ability to manage deal flow independently with attention to detail

  • Interest in building client relationships and contributing to practice growth

  • Must be licensed to practice law in California

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in good standing with the California Bar

Skills

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities

  • Proficient in real estate transaction structuring and document review

  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously

  • Team-oriented with strong business acumen

  • Deal sheet preparation experience preferred
