A law firm seeks a motivated and dynamic Cyber and Data Privacy Attorney to join its national and international practice in Houston, TX. The team provides nationwide litigation defense and 24/7/365 breach response services, collaborating with global counterparts across 25 jurisdictions.

Duties

• Propose litigation strategies and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
• Manage cyber incident responses, including crisis management and regulatory issues.
• Advise clients on incident response and investigations related to data breaches.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of federal litigation experience or 2-6 years of cyber incident response work.
• Experience in crisis management and regulatory data risk issues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
