Mid- to Senior-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Mid- to Senior-level Litigation Associate Attorney with expertise in employment litigation. The successful candidate will represent various public and private employers, work collaboratively with senior litigators, and manage multiple aspects of complex legal cases. Duties:

• Represent a wide variety of public and private employers in employment litigation.
• Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for the defense of employment actions.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery documents, memos, briefs, and other legal correspondence.
• Analyze employment records and represent clients in court and before administrative agencies.
• Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, trials, and all other aspects of employment litigation.
• Interact with employment experts to support case strategies.
• Conduct legal and employment research and analysis.
• Draft motions and other litigation documents.
• Work cooperatively with colleagues and interact with clients to provide high-quality legal representation.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in New York.
• 3+ years of experience in employment litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
