Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join their Franchise and Beer Attorney Practice Group in a 100% remote capacity. This position is open to qualified candidates nationwide, offering a unique opportunity to engage in franchise law without the constraints of a traditional office environment.

Duties

  • Advise franchisor clients on franchise relationship matters and pre-litigation disputes.
  • Draft default notices, termination notices, and demand letters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate franchise agreement amendments and renewals.
  • Assist with the review and drafting of franchise agreements.
  • Provide day-to-day legal counsel to franchisor clients on operational and compliance needs.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • 4 to 15 years of legal experience with a strong litigation background.
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Technologically proficient and able to work from home effectively.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
