Job Overview:

A law firm based in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in general litigation. This role offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals with a strong background in handling dispositive motions, discovery, and exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills. The position allows a hybrid work model after 90 days, offering flexibility to balance professional commitments and personal life.

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of litigation matters with a focus on general litigation.
  • Prepare and file dispositive motions.
  • Manage the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, depositions, and arbitrations.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategies for clients to manage litigation risks.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm on case strategies and legal matters.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of litigation, including dispositive motions and discovery.
  • Proven experience in research, writing, and analysis for complex legal matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle a demanding caseload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar, in good standing.
