Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in estate planning and tax law.
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex estate structures.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Strong knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code related to estates, gifts, and trusts.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
  • Board Certification in Estate Planning, Trust, or Tax Law preferred but not required.

  • Advanced understanding of estate and gift taxation, trust administration, and charitable planning.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills.
