Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Texas with 4 to 6 years of complex commercial litigation experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in trial preparation and case management, showcasing strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Duties

  • Prepare federal and state court filings.
  • Handle court appearances effectively.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Manage discovery and motions.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of complex commercial litigation experience.
  • Federal and state court experience or clerkship experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage cases.
  • Insurance coverage experience is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Member of the State Bar of Texas.

Skills

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
