A law firm seeks a Cyber and Data Privacy Attorney to join its team in Seattle, WA. The firm is looking for motivated attorneys to contribute to its national and international cyber and data privacy practice, providing litigation defense and breach response services.

Duties

• Provide litigation defense for cyber insurers and major corporates.
• Engage in 24/7/365 breach response services.
• Collaborate with global cyber teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Propose litigation strategies and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
• Manage cyber incident response, including crisis management and regulatory issues.
• Advise clients on investigations arising from data breaches and privacy issues.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of federal litigation experience.
• 2-6 years of cyber incident response experience.
• Experience in crisis management and regulatory data risk issues.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of Washington.
