Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Associate to join its team in Houston, TX. This role involves managing a caseload of personal injury claims, with a focus on motor vehicle accident cases. Duties:

• Oversee and manage a docket of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.

• Advocate for clients in negotiations and court proceedings.

• Maintain regular client communication and provide case updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in personal injury law, with preference for three (3) or more years.

• Experience conducting depositions and mediations is a plus.

• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members.

• A detail-oriented and highly organized approach to case management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.

Certifications:

• Texas State Bar License (Required).
