Job Title: Corporate/Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a motivated and versatile associate attorney to support a diverse legal practice. This position is ideal for a legal professional looking to gain exposure across corporate law, litigation, immigration, mergers & acquisitions, and family law. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters, represent clients in various legal forums, and contribute to high-impact legal strategy and documentation.

Duties:

  • Handle corporate legal transactions, including M&A and business structuring matters

  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitration, and administrative proceedings

  • Provide legal support in litigation, immigration, and family law matters

  • Draft legal briefs, memoranda, motions, and correspondence

  • Review, analyze, and revise legal agreements and business contracts

  • Negotiate settlements and resolve business or personal legal disputes

  • Conduct legal research and provide advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues

  • Perform due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other commercial deals

  • Proactively identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience practicing law in a relevant capacity

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Georgia

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

  • State Bar of Georgia – Active Member (required)

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

  • Effective in negotiation and conflict resolution

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in drafting and reviewing documents

  • Able to manage multiple matters simultaneously across various legal domains

  • Comfortable appearing in court and interacting directly with clients
